Description
Metacrylics Clear Base is a highly adhesive transparent acrylic coating that can be used on almost any roofing surface. Clear Base is a protective base coating that can also be used as a primer. Like all Metacrylics coatings, Clear Base is formulated with high-quality resins and without zinc oxide. Because Clear Base does not contain zinc oxide, it is safer for the environment and provides better adhesion to certain surfaces. Metacrylics Clear Base can be sprayed, brushed, or rolled.
Uses
Metacrylics Clear Base is formulated for use as a self-priming protective basecoat coating or as a primer for enhanced adhesion to existing surfaces. Clear Base must be protected with Metacrylics topcoat coatings. When applied with Metacrylics polyester fabric and acrylic or silicone top coat coatings, Clear Base is recommended for BUR, asphalt, tar & gravel, granulated capsheet, rolled roofing, metal, concrete, wood, foam, EPDM, PVC, and Stucco surfaces.

Metacrylics Gray Base is a highly adhesive protective coating that can be applied on almost any roof surface. Gray Base is a water-based acrylic elastomeric coating. Like all Metacrylics coatings, Gray Base is formulated with high-quality resins and without zinc oxide. Because Gray Base does not contain zinc oxide, it is safer for the environment and provides better adhesion to certain surfaces. Metacrylics Gray Base can be sprayed, brushed, or rolled.
Uses
Metacrylics Gray Base is formulated for use as a protective base coating. Gray Base must be protected with Metacrylics topcoat coatings.
