Metacrylics® Metacrylics® over Torchdown BRAI® Roofing (Ungranulated): 10-Year Coating Warranty

Materials Needed
EPDM Rinse @ .2 gal/100 ft² 0.2 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Clear Acrylic BASE @ 1 gal/100 ft² 1 x _____ SQs = _____ Squares
Acrylic WHITE @ 3 gal/100 ft² 3 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
  1. Thoroughly clean roof, removing any debris prior to application of EPDM Rinse.
  2. Apply Metacrylics® EPDM Rinse @ .2 gal/SQ over the TORCHDOWN BRAI; wait 20 minutes, then pressure wash roof to remove EPDM Rinse.
  3. Thoroughly pressure wash roof again with a minimum of 3,000 PSI
  4. Apply Metacrylics® Clear Acrylic BASE @ 1 gal/SQ to the entire roof, including parapet walls, flashings, and ductworks. Allow 4-24 hours cure time.
  5. Apply Metacrylics® Acrylic WHITE @ 3 gal/SQ of in 2 applications of 1.5 gal/100 ft2 each application over the Clear Acrylic BASE; also, apply to all parapet walls, flashings, and ductworks. Allow 24-48 hours cure time between applications.

Materials Needed

Clear Acrylic BASE @ 3 gal/100 ft² 3 x _____ SQs = _____ Squares
9 inch Stitchbond Polyester Fabric As needed for all seams
Acrylic WHITE @ 3 gal/100 ft² 3 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
3-Course Materials As Needed
  1. Thoroughly clean roof, removing any debris prior to application of EPDM Rinse.
  2. Apply Metacrylics® EPDM Rinse @ .2 gal/SQ over the Torchdown Brai. Wait 20 minutes, then pressure wash roof to remove EPDM Rinse.
  3. Thoroughly pressure wash roof again with a minimum of 3,000 PSI
  4. Apply Metacrylics® Clear Acrylic BASE @ 1 gal/SQ to the entire roof, including parapet walls, flashings, and ductworks. Allow 4-24 hours cure time.
  5. 3-COURSE PENETRATION DETAIL (see Metacrylics® Penetration Detail instructions sheet which includes all penetrations, drains, scuppers, flashings, ductworks, & parapets).
  6. MEASURE the lineal footage of the Torchdown Brai seams and 3-Course with Metacrylics® Clear Acrylic BASE or GEL and 9 inch Polyester Fabric. Use brush or broom to embed polyester fabric into Clear BASE.
  7. Apply Metacrylics® Acrylic WHITE @ 3 gal/SQ of in 2 applications of 1.5 gal/100 ft2 each application over the Clear Acrylic BASE; also, apply to all parapet walls, flashings, and ductworks. Allow 24-48 hours cure time between applications.
