Metacrylics® Application over Polyurethane Foam (PUF) Roofing: 15-Year Material Warranty

Materials Needed
Clear Acrylic BASE @ 5 gal/100 ft² 5 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Stitchbond Polyester Fabric @ 1 SQ/100 ft² 1 x _____ SQs = _____ Squares
Acrylic WHITE @ 4 gal/100 ft² 4 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Acrylic GEL and Stitchbond Fabric As Needed
  1. Thoroughly clean roof of all debris and dust. All wet areas must be removed and replaced with similar materials of equal thickness. Pressure wash roof with a minimum of 3,000 PSI. If roof cannot be pressure washed, then thorough wash surface with TSP or similar cleaner to remove oxidation and residue.
  2. Apply 1 gallon/SQ of Metacrylics® Clear Acrylic BASE parapet walls, flashings, and ductworks. Allow 4-24 hours cure time.
  3. 3-COURSE PENETRATION DETAIL (see Metacrylics® Penetration Detail instructions sheet which includes all penetrations, drains, scuppers, flashings, ductworks, & parapets). Check that all roof penetrations, cant strips, nosing and edge metal are secure. Repair or replace any loose equipment.
  4. Apply to entire roof 2.5 gal/SQ Clear Acrylic BASE, embed stitchbond polyester fabric; immediately apply 2.5 gal Clear Acrylic BASE over the stitchbond polyester fabric. Allow 24-48 hours curing time.
  5. Apply 4 gal/SQ of Metacrylics® Acrylic WHITE in 2 applications @ 2 gal/100 ft² each application over the Clear Acrylic BASE. Allow 24-48 hours curing time between applications.
