Metacrylics® over Corrugated Metal Roofing: 5-Year Coating Warranty

Materials Needed
Clear BASE/Black Acrylic PRIMER @ 1 gal/100 ft² 1 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Acrylic WHITE @ 1.5 gal/100 ft² 1.5 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
  1. Wire brush and remove any flaking rust.
  2. Thoroughly pressure wash roof, especially oxidized areas, with a minimum of 3,000 PSI
  3. * Apply 1 gallon/SQ Metacrylics® Clear Acrylic BASE/Black Acrylic PRIMER to the entire roof. Allow 4-24 hours cure time.
    *Note: If the metal has rust, then use the Black Acrylic PRIMER which has a rust inhibitor, if there is no rust then use the Clear BASE which has superior adhesion to all types of metal (including new metal).
  4. Apply 1.5 gal/SQ of Metacrylics® Acrylic WHITE over the Clear Acrylic BASE/Black Acrylic PRIMER. Allow 24-48 hours cure time.
