Metacrylics® Application Over BUR Mineral Surfaced Granulated Cap Sheet: 20-Year Materials Warranty

Materials Needed
Clear Acrylic BASE (self-priming) @ 2 gal/100 ft² 2 x _____ SQs = _____ Squares
Stitchbond Polyester Fabric @ 1 SQ/100 ft² 1 x _____ SQs = _____ Squares
Acrylic WHITE @ 7 gal/100 ft² 7 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Acrylic GEL and Stitchbond Fabric As Needed
  1. Thoroughly clean roof of all debris and dust. Pressure wash roof with a minimum of 3,000 PSI.
  2. 3-COURSE PENETRATION DETAIL (see Metacrylics® Penetration Detail instructions sheet which includes all penetrations, drains, scuppers, flashings, ductworks, & parapets).
  3. Apply to entire roof 2 gal/SQ Clear Acrylic BASE (self-priming), embed stitchbond polyester fabric using a brush or broom. Allow 24 hours curing time.
  4. Apply 2 gal/SQ of Metacrylics® Acrylic WHITE (or Acrylic BASE) over the Stitchbond Polyester Fabric and allow 24-48 hours curing time.
  5. Apply 5 gal/100 ft² Metacrylics® Acrylic WHITE in three applications of @ 1.67 gal/SQ each application. Allow 24-48 hours curing time between applications.
