Metacrylics® over BUR Mineral Surfaced Cap Sheet - 10-Year Coating Warranty

Materials Needed
Clear Acrylic BASE @ 1 gal/100 ft² 1 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Acrylic WHITE @ 3 gal/100 ft² 3 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Acrylic GEL and Stitchbond Fabric As Needed
  1. Thoroughly clean roof of all debris and dust. Pressure wash roof with a minimum of 3,000 PSI.
  2. Apply to entire roof 1 gallon/SQ Clear Acrylic BASE to the entire roof. Allow 4-24 hours curing time.
  3. Apply 3 gal/SQ of Metacrylics® Acrylic WHITE in 2 applications of 1.5 gal/100 ft² each application over the Clear Acrylic PRIMER; also, apply to all parapet walls, flashings, and ductworks. Allow 24-48 hours cure time between applications.

Materials Needed
Clear Acrylic BASE @ 3 gal/100 ft² 3 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Stitchbond Polyester Fabric @ 1 SQ/100 ft²
(For all waterways/ponding areas of roof)		 1 x _____ SQs = _____ Squares
6 inch Polyester Fabric for all overlap seams 32 LF x _____ SQs = _____ Lineal Feet
Acrylic WHITE @ 3 gal/100 ft² 3 x _____ SQs = _____ Gallons
Acrylic GEL and Stitchbond Fabric As Needed
  1. Thoroughly clean roof of all debris and dust. Pressure wash roof with a minimum of 3,000 PSI.
  2. Application of 1 gallon/SQ Clear Acrylic BASE (self-priming) to entire roof and 6 inch fabric on all seams.
    1. Apply 6 inch Stitchbond Polyester Fabric to all Cap Sheet overlaps on the roof (approximately 32 lineal feet/100 ft²). Apply Clear Acrylic BASE, embed fabric, apply cover coat of Clear Acrylic BASE over fabric.
    2. 3-COURSE PENETRATION DETAIL: (See Metacrylics® Penetration Detail instructions sheet which includes all penetrations, drains, scuppers, flashings, ductworks, & parapets). Use brush or broom to embed fabric into Clear Acrylic BASE.
  3. Apply to all waterway/ponding areas of the roof 2 gal/SQ Clear Acrylic BASE, embed stitchbond polyester fabric; immediately apply 2 gal Clear Acrylic BASE over the stitchbond polyester fabric. Allow 24-48 hours curing time.
  4. Apply 3 gal/SQ of Metacrylics® Acrylic WHITE in 2 applications of 1.5 gal/100 ft2 each application over the Clear Acrylic BASE; also, apply to all parapet walls, flashings, and ductworks. Allow 24-48 hours cure
